The beautiful town of Herk-de-Stad is situated in the East of Belgium in the province of Limburg, in between the cities Hasselt, Diest and Sint-Truiden. The festival ground is in ‘Olmenhof’, the lovely municipal park at the Sint-Truidersteenweg, about 500 metres outside the city centre.
If you come by train to the festival, you have to take a train to Hasselt. From the train station of Hasselt, there are extra busses that drive you to Herk-de-Stad, where Rock Herk takes place. Direct trains leave for Hasselt every hour, if you come from any stop on the lines Antwerpen, Leuven, Landen and Luik. On Friday, two direct lines connect Leuven and Hasselt. If you come by train, please take notice of the last train back to your destination. Or you can spend the night in Herk-de-Stad at the campsite of the festival and take your train back the following day. The campsite opens on Friday July 17th at 12 o’clock and closes Sunday morning July 19th at 10 o’clock.
