After a first series of names following artists are added to the line-up of Rock Herk 2012: The Raveonettes, a melodic rock duo from Denmark, and The Death Set, an exciting punk, electro and hip hop act from the United States. Our very own Steak Number Eight, winners of Humo’s Rock Rally 2008, who last year released All Is Chaos, an amazing album, and Polaroid Fiction, winners of Limbomania 2012, are coming as well on Saturday July 14th.

Earlier Dinosaur Jr, Tocadisco, Dum Dum Girls, Les Petits Pilous, While She Sleeps, Emalkay and The Gaslamp Killer confirmed their coming to Rock Herk. More names are to be announced the following weeks and months.

On Thurday April 24th the first club show of Rock Herk 30 takes place, at the Effenaar in Eindhoven, where Black Box Revelation will play. Support act that evening is Little Trouble Kids, one of last year’s bands on Rock Herk.

Rock Herk takes place on July 13th and 14th 2012 in park Olmenhof in Herk-de-Stad. Check the website and facebookpage for more news.

The advance booking of drink tokens has started, for 2 euro a piece. The advance booking of tickets is going well, but there are still tickets available. The organisation advices to order them on time, as the amount of visitors is limited to 12.000 in 2012.
