Rock Herk announces a very special year with three club shows to celebrate the 30th birthday of the festival. But the festival itself, on July 13th and 14th, will stay of course the high point. Spring is in the air, the perfect moment to release the first names for Rock Herk 2012.

Rock Herk is proud to present the coming of Dinosaur Jr. to the main stage on Saturday July 14th. The organisation is very pleased to welcome one of the most influential bands of the guitar rock scene on this special, festive edition. A second American band on the main stage is Dum Dum Girls, part of the Sub Pop family.

A first name for the second stage, also known as Vice Club, is the English hardcore sensation While She Sleeps. For lovers of dance music: the best of the German dance scene Tocadisco, French electro duo Les Petits Pilous, dance terrorist The Gaslamp Killer and dubstep icon Emalkay are also coming to Rock Herk. More names to be announced the following weeks and months.

Rock Herk takes place on July 13th and 14th 2012 in park Olmenhof in Herk-de-Stad, Belgium. Check our website and Facebook for more news in the near future.

Tickets are still available. The organisation advises to order them on time, as the access to the site of the festival is limited to 12.000 visitors a day.
